HT Media found its beginning in 1924 when its flagship newspaper, Hindustan Times was
inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. HT Media (BSE, NSE) has today grown to become one of
India's largest media companies.
“HT Go Green”
Objective of the project:
The objective of this project is to study “Read, renew ,recycle” an initiative by taken HT
media ltd.
Aim is to recycle paper which would otherwise be soiled. So the paper they collect
recycled and reused, therefore they end up saving trees from being cut.
Hence, as a society they end up being a greener and cleaner one. From a common man's
standpoint and understanding, every 54 kg of paper that they recycle saves one tree.

We can schedule our old newspaper pickup just by sending SMS or by calling their helpline.
And their authorized person will come and lift our old newspaper.

HT Media GO GREEN INITIATIVE is a new recycling project. Recycling is the process of
turning waste paper into new paper products.
