WHAT IS ENTREPRENEURSHIP
DEVELOPMENT ?
 Entrepreneurship development is the process of
improving the skill and knowledge of
entrepreneurs through various training and
classroom programs. The whole point of
entrepreneurship development is to increase
the number of entrepreneurs.
WHAT IS ENTREPRENEURSHIP?
According to Frank Knight, "It involves a
specialized group of person who bear risk and
meet the uncertainty”.
Entrepreneurship is the process of designing,
launching and running a new business,
which is often initially a small business. The
people who create these businesses are called
entrepreneurs.

 The word entrepreneur is derived from
the French word “enterprendre”it means
“to undertake”and literally translated
means “between-taker "or “go-between”.

Entrepreneurs are not always motivated by profit but
regard it as a standard for measuring achievement or
success. An entrepreneur greatly values self-reliance and
strives for distinction through excellence. They are highly
optimistic and they always favor challenges of medium
risk that is neither too easy, nor ruinous.
ENTREPRENEURIAL ACHIEVEMENT
There are some factors to contribute to the success of
an entrepreneur .
The factors are:

Some other factors like consumer relation, social
support , government support also contribute as
important factors in entrepreneurial achievement.

MIND VS MONEY
 Mind is the route of creative idea, idea leads to innovation.
An idea shows the mission and vision whereas money
shows the way to achieve that mission and vision. Without
mind money may not be properly distributed and utilized.

individuals.
Develop services such as road, transportation, health,
education and entertainment.
It helps to eliminate disparities between regions
through an implementation of industry in countryside
and areas less developed.

Important policy measures taken for
entrepreneurship development
For the overall development and youth entrepreneurship of
the country, the government of the People’s Republic of
Bangladesh has set the following strategies :
Removing the existing discrimination and increasing the
women’s participation in the decision making process.
Recent policy considerations
Recent policy considerations
Formulating and implementing special economic policy for youth
Consider the initiatives of youth while formulating the macro-
economic policies.
Setting up National Action Plan for Youth Entrepreneurship by
the Government.
Comprehensive sustainable industry policy to promote equity
Upgrading technology
Related ministries and agencies are addressing the R&D sector for
a effective implementation of Industrial Policy.
Setting up special window and pre & post investment counseling
for the entrepreneurs.

  • 5. WHAT IS ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT ?  Entrepreneurship development is the process of improving the skill and knowledge of entrepreneurs through various training and classroom programs. The whole point of entrepreneurship development is to increase the number of entrepreneurs.

WHAT IS ENTREPRENEURSHIP? According to Frank Knight, "It involves a specialized group of person who bear risk and meet the uncertainty”. Entrepreneurship is the process of designing, launching and running a new business, which is often initially a small business. The people who create these businesses are called entrepreneurs.
  • 9. WHAT IS ENTREPRENEUR  The word entrepreneur is derived from the French word “enterprendre”it means “to undertake”and literally translated means “between-taker "or “go-between”.  Entrepreneur is an individual who takes risk and starts something new.

An entrepreneur greatly values self-reliance and strives for distinction through excellence. They are highly optimistic and they always favor challenges of medium risk that is neither too easy, nor ruinous.

  • 24. MIND VS MONEY  Mind is the route of creative idea, idea leads to innovation. An idea shows the mission and vision whereas money shows the way to achieve that mission and vision. Without mind money may not be properly distributed and utilized.
