Miracles 18
- 1. Miracles by Robert Woeger
Miracles have been recorded throughout time, as evidence of God’s Faithfulness and His Love for people.
Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, performed miracles on earth by The Power Of Holy Spirit.
Jesus paid the Ultimate Sacrifice with His Blood, for people to be restored back to Father God and to receive
the The Precious Holy Spirit. Jesus desires you to believe in Him, and in The Heavenly Father, and for you
to be empowered by The Holy Spirit to do great exploits for His Name’s Sake. Believers and churches today
are increasingly denying God’s Word and The Power of Jesus, not demonstrating faith. “...lovers of pleasures
more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
2 Timothy 3:4-5. “...For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of
the devil.” 1 John 3:8. Jesus did not come to condemn people, but to save them and free them from the devil.
Jesus completely destroyed every claim death has over our lives, including disease and lack of peace and joy.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in
heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that
we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” Ephesians 1:3-4. All spiritual blessings have been
provided for you already in Heavenly Places through Jesus Christ’s Great Sacrifice. You must simply receive
them by faith and walk in them. They are available to you, if you believe upon Jesus. God made it so simple
to be saved from destruction, and set free from the works of the devil: Believe upon Jesus Christ, confessing
Him with your mouth, and surrendering your will to Him, asking Him to help you repent and turn away from
every sin that separates you from God. Jesus will come into your life and give you power over all the power
of the enemy, so you can live a life of faith that is satisfying and pleasing to God. “Now the just shall live by
faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw
back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ... But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews
10:38-11:6. The purpose of miracles is to confirm God’s Word and to demonstrate that Jesus Is Alive today!
God is happy to provide the proof through miracles to sinners that He Is Real and that Jesus Christ Is Alive.
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and
nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19. “And these signs shall follow them that believe...they
shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” “And they went forth, and preached every where,
the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark 16:17-18,20.
Many Believers in Christ do not realize, or exercise, their God-given authority. The devil tricks people into
believing that signs, wonders, and miracles have passed away, so that they will not receive them. “How
shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which...was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the
Holy Ghost, according to his own will?” Hebrews 2:3-4. “Jesus said...If thou canst believe, all things are
possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23. “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when
ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24. The key to receiving by faith
is being obedient to God’s Instructions, and not doubting or wavering. Forgive people and walk in God’s
Love. “...no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Psalm 84:11. All glory for each
miracle belongs to God, and not to the vessel. Prayer lays a groundwork for miracles. A humble, pure and
contrite heart helps a person receive from God. Appropriate the healing miracle that God has already done
through Jesus Christ. You “...should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24.
Allow God to confirm His Word by Miracles. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.
