Physical wellbeing is the ability to
maintain a healthy quality of life that
allows us to get the most out of our
daily activities without undue fatigue or
physical stress.
Mental health is a state of well-being in
which an individual realizes his or her
own abilities, can cope with the normal
stresses of life, can work productively
and is able to make a contribution to
his or her community.
Social well-being can be defined as an
individual's appraisal of their social
relationships.

Operational definition of health
In a broad sense, health can be seen as
"a condition or quality of the human organism expressing
the adequate functioning of the organism in given
conditions, genetic or environmental"
7. Social And Preventive Pharmacy
In a narrow sense - one more useful for measuring purposes -
health means:
a) there is no obvious evidence of disease, and that a person is
functioning normally,
i.e., conforming within normal limits of variation to the standards of health
criteria generally accepted for one's age, sex, community, and geographic
region; and
b) the several organs of the body are functioning adequately in
themselves and in relation to one another,
which implies a kind of equilibrium or homeostasis a condition relatively
stable but which may vary as human beings adapt to internal and external
stimuli.
