2. Executive Summary
In this contemporary era, people are less active due to their hectic schedules. Eventually, their
joints are becoming less flexible, and it is hard for them to walk, raise their arms overhead, and
turn their head. In this training plan, we will briefly describe the importance of stretching and
design a training plan for attendees to teach them how to do stretching professionally.
We have surveyed audience prior to the training as a needs analysis in which they have
answered the basic questions that can be helpful in creating a successful plan for them. After
this training plan, audience will be able to learn the basics of stretching.

4. Introduction
Stretching is a term that is related to physical health and fitness. It is process in which we put
our body in a situation where the muscles will be lengthened and elongated. Stretching helps
our body to go through changes where it becomes more agile and flexible (Walker, 2010). In
this report we have created a training plan in which we will train the attendees on how to
stretch properly.
This training elaborates the objective behind this training, the modes of delivery that will be
used, budget required for the training, audience who will participate, content, and learning
outcomes. A questionnaire was designed to get responses from the audience as a part of needs
analysis. It will help in implementing the training workshop and make it more effective. An
invitation was also sent to the members so that they can get the proper information of date,
time, and venue of the training workshop.
5. Training Design worksheet
Workshop Name – Stretching
Learning Objective The main objective of this training is to help
participants in understanding the importance of
Stretching.
Understand the importance of stretching and how
they can use it in action
Explain different types of stretching
Being more active or concentrated towards their
daily tasks.
Stretching helps in increasing flexibility in our body
which leads to better performance, reduces the risk of
injuries, and allows our muscles to work more
effectively (Mayo Clinic Staff, 2022)
Consideration of learning Style The learning style of our workshop will be based on
visual, auditory, and Kinesthetic learning
Visual Learning: We will use images and
infographics. By this, participants will learn
by seeing.
6. Auditory Learning: We will use voice-over
while doing stretching. Through this,
participants will learn by hearing.
Kinesthetic learning: In this, we will conduct
physical activities rather than just listening.
Participants will learn by doing (Personality
Max, 2022).
Delivery Mode We will have face-to-face interaction with the audience
which will include formal and informal sources of
knowledge and skills, audio-visual-based learning
materials, and observational learning.
Budget A Chair
Internet
Donuts as snacks
Traveling cost
Room for training
Paper, and pen cost for feedback.
Delivery Styles Instructor-Led Training/ Classroom Training:
7. This training will provide a small amount of information to
a large group of knowledge in a short period (Gautam,
2019).
Audience The audience for this training will be the participants who
will be attending the class.
Content We will cover first four minutes by introducing the
concept and importance of stretching, in which we will tell
how stretching can help individual by increasing their
blood flow, reducing risk of injury, improving posture.
In next five minutes, we will train the attendees where
they will do stretching along with us. Here, we will cover
three types of stretching, named as active, passive, and
dynamic.
The last minute will be dedicated for the wrap-up, and we
will ask learners if they have question or doubt regarding
our workshop. Also, we will get a survey from them to
measure our effectiveness.
8. Timelines The duration of this workshop will be 10 minutes on
October 20, 2022, from 1:15 pm to 1:25 pm at Civic Plaza.
The outline of our workshop will be:
Agenda (20 seconds)
Meaning of stretching (40 seconds)
Icebreaker activity (1 minute)
Importance of stretching (1 minutes)
Types of stretching and how to do it professionally (6
minutes)
Feedback (1 minute)
Communication We will send an invitation to learners and our professor a
week prior to our class, which means it is a free
opportunity for everyone to learn without any differences.
9. Measuring the effectiveness of
training
For measuring the effectiveness of our workshop, we will
have a little quiz after our presentation to know the
learner outcome. Also, we will ask learners to provide us
with written feedback, which will include some questions
like:
What is the most valuable thing that you learnt
from our workshop?
Is there anything you dislike about our workshop?
How can we improve that?
10. Conclusion
In this report we have created a training workshop on stretching. The purpose of choosing this
topic was to make audience aware about the importance of stretching before and after
workouts or training sessions. We will discuss three types of stretching in the workshop such as
active, dynamic, and passive. Learning about stretching professionally can prevent individuals
from getting injuries and can make their body flexible.
