4. About The Founder
Kiera McKibbens is a young Entrepreneur from the small town of Merced, Ca. Kiera moved to
Los Angeles after skipping out on bootcamp to officially join the Army, due to not receiving her
desired job as a Journalist. Instead, Kiera enrolled at California State University Northridge
where she could be a Journalist on her own terms.
During her Undergrad years Kiera was a student-athlete participating on the First Dance Team
to compete at a collegiate level for the University. Kiera was also a photojournalist for the
school's newspaper The Sundial and a producer and host for the campus show On Point.
During her Senior year Kiera interned at KABC-TV under the supervision of the Entertainment
Reporter George Pennacchio. This is where Kiera discovered that Entertainment News was her
niche.
Upon completion of college Kiera began a modeling career as a way to network and break into
the fashion industry. Once well acquainted, she launched TrendyMii, an entertainment media
outlet focused on highlighting the works of fashion Entrepreneurs. TrendyMii had reporters in
Detroit, New York and Los Angeles but the run didn’t last forever because Kiera soon learned
that funding a media outlet was not easy.
Falling to homelessness on the streets of LA, all Kiera had were her ideas. Looking for a way to
learn the business Kiera created Stylers Panel. She wanted to be a better Entrepreneur, and
was always told the best way to learn was to teach. So, she developed topics that were the
focus of her struggle and built panels around them. Sometimes Kiera would put on these
events and not know where she was going to sleep that night, but she knew that her fellow
fashionista’s needed this information, and that was more important to her. So, 2 years later
Stylers Panel thriving and Kiera is the platform's first success story! 4

WeWork started in 2010, they wanted to build more
than beautiful, shared office spaces. they wanted to
build a community. A place you join as an individual,

7. Each Mind Matters is California’s Mental Health Movement. We are millions of
individuals and thousands of organizations working to advance mental health. The
mental health movement certainly didn’t start with us, but Each Mind Matters was
created to unite all of us who share a vision of improved mental health and equality.
Every day, millions of people face stigma related to mental health because they or their
loved ones are facing a challenge. Many of these people feel isolated and alone, going
years before receiving any help. Our goal is to amplify the voices of all people who want
to put an end to this stigma, creating a community where everyone feels comfortable
reaching out for the support they deserve.
