Before the internship my knowledge of administration and management control on international level was minimal and when it comes to practical real life oriented , I knew nothing at all.
Now that my 15-weeks internship is over, I feel I have really learned a lot.
First of all, I became more familiar with the management and markating procedure in a international level and the role of different company. I did not just learn to do my daily tasks, but got confident inside the strengths of management, as well as its weaknesses and the need for improvement.
In other way, I can not express that this internship was challenging and I had to give a lot of hard work. A few weeks after the beginning I started hoping for a huge variety of assignments to keep myself busy and making new things with new generation’s idea.. What is more, I felt like my work did not matter that much and I could have put my potential to the better use, but that’s just probably a matter of my goals.
Despite the fact that this internship didn’t keep me as much interested as I wished, I admit that there still is quite a lot to learn.
Another thing of great value would be to get more familiar with policy-making on an international level.

outcome of the research depends largely upon the adopting of the proper
methods suitable to the research topic in the field of investigation.
To prepare this report I mostly depend on the experience and secondary data

beside this I also use primary data. Company Insight, advertising, Catalogs
of the Company brochures, books, reports etc are the source of secondary
data. Based on this information I prepare this qualitative report because it
was having an unstructured exploratory research methodology based on
observation for providing insights of the report topic.

the local office receive that so here is the things to be done .That is taxations in

Internship Positions:
My department of internship program is under marketing department. So I
am fully involved in marketing department. But I have to know about whole
organization’s work so that our management put us on every department for
several days. For this decision of management I am very happy because I
know every department’s function clearly.
Every day I have to go office at 9.00 am like all there employees and stay up
to 6.00 pm. Some days my work area is in office and some day’s work was
out of office, in the field. Management scheduled me what time I will spend
in what department. On those guidelines I stay at various departments at
various days and learnt something new everyday.
I have learnt many things from this company about office work about
customer dealing.

company. Values operates under the values of honesty and integrity.
My Marketing plan given to the company and which is maintain by the
local office.
Learning Point:
From B&F Korea Ltd, I have learned many things about official work,
behavior and how to deal with customer. I have learned how to solve a
customer problem.
Management Style:
I have seen that the management style of company is democratic because
when any decision is taken from the top level it is informed to the lower
level for their comment to take.We follow in maximum area korean style
managing and one thing more that is do harder like korean style.
Human Resource Management Process:
B&F Korea Ltd, has a small HRM unit to look after the company day to day
affairs regarding Human Resources Management planning and control. This
unit recruits management staffs only at the entry level manpower’s in the
selling units. This unit has sole authority to recruit sells staffs as required for
marketing and production units.
It’s goes by some course work, firstly to do market sells idea company sent
me to the real market vising to get practical idea. Basic of Export & Import,
10. The Internship Report
Page 10
As this company is importing from Korean Dong-A pharmaceutical products in
Bangladesh .So I must to have export and import ideas as well taxations on
product. After a week learning and discussion with my supervisor I came to
this point.
In Bangladeshi Custom and Calculating duties:
This is very interesting matter to learn and I got real idea to the real fields.
Calculating duties For some types of goods, like textiles and foodstuffs,
customs duty may be payable. Customs duty are generally calculated based on
the value of the goods (customs value) or a rate per kilo, liter, or piece. The
customs duty rate for the goods you are importing is determined by the
commodity code in the Customs Tariff in which the goods are classified.
Import, Bangladeshi company B&F Dhaka Ltd ask to the C&F agency to deal
with our products from the cargo ship as well as government tax and charges
needed.
Special taxes: Special taxes must be paid or reported for some types of
goods. These include alcohol, tobacco, sugar, chocolate, and oil-based products.
The Norwegian Tax Administration is responsible for the special taxes.
Customs value
The customs value is the amount paid or payable for goods abroad, including
the cost of their transportation to Norway, insurance, packaging costs, and
11. The Internship Report
Page 11
similar. If you collect the goods abroad yourself, you will be charged a standard
supplement for shipping costs.
Please note that any royalties and agent commissions are often added to the
customs value. If you have contributed to the production of the goods abroad,
the cost of this must also be added.
In most cases, the customs value is calculated as follows:
price of goods
+ insurance (where applicable)
+ cost of packaging and the like
+ fees, royalties, commission, or the like (where applicable)
+ shipping costs
= customs value
For an intern student those knowledge is very important to begin with and our
company gave me so much freedom to learn .I have work Korea and
Bangladesh both side so its becomes more informative for me to understand the
reality of practical Business style ,system ,Norms and so on.
Benefits of an Internship
After done of my internship I have reach to this point of benefit is ,One of the
recurring point on any beginner job search is the lack of experience. Where do
12. The Internship Report
Page 12
I get experience if no one is willing to hire me ,The answer is simple Get an
internship.
When we planning to enter the permanent work force should complement their
academic courses with a range of other job search, such as study abroad,
community service, undergraduate research experiences, participation in sports
and other student organizations, membership in pre-professional organizations,
and internships.
In my perceptions, an internship offers a student to the chance to learn by doing
in a setting where we are supervised by a work-place professional, and have the
opportunity to achieve our personal learning goals, without the responsibilities
of being a permanent employee.
Internship also offers us the opportunity to work with someone who can
become a mentor for us - not only in the internship, but throughout the career.
So ,as my working experience I like to recommend my fellow friends to be
strong in a job field and to be achieve our best goal do the internship in any
company but I think if mid large or small company than that’s better .Cause in
small company we can learn from every sector but in big company there will
not be several chance to move every where .
INTERNSHIP EVALUATION

control on international level was minimal and when it comes to practical real
