Nazmul Islam, ACMA.
I’ve started my internship at the Janata Bank, Feni on May 2016 and at the end of the program I
am submitting my internship report focusing on the contribution of the overall performance of
bank especially on profitability perspective.

1.4 Scope & Limitations of the Study
Scope
A comprehensive knowledge on the organization and a thorough knowledge on the
operation and the organization have come under the scope of the report.
The report is about to general activities of the Janata Bank for last 6 years and operations during
January 2009 to December 2014
Limitations
The organization maintains confidentiality in providing some relevant information, so the
author could not incorporate those.
Information is not maintained in a structured manner and they are so tough to gather.
Besides due to time limitation I can’t cover credit department part properly.
The most functions of JBL are manual and lengthy though it is trying to upgrade.
I can’t manage the internship on the due time, but I need to submit the report on the due
date. It’s creating a big pressure on my repot making.
6. 6
I face some problems to understand their products & facilities they provide. Because
some of the rules of the banking are deferent from the general banking rules.
Sufficient books, publications, facts and figures are not available; these constraints
narrowed the scope of accurate analysis. If these limitations were not been there, the
report has been more useful and attractive.
It was very difficult to collect data from such a big organization. My internship was
at Branch. But for better interpretation I had to collect some information from the
head office. But because of some divisional and confidential problem, I could not get
enough information.
