This document summarizes an undergraduate final year project presentation for a PCB CNC machine. A team of 4 electrical engineering students from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore presented their project. They developed a low-cost, fast, precise and environmentally friendly CNC machine as a solution to issues with conventional PCB etching methods. The presentation covered the proposed system design, hardware setup, software interface, and progress made on the project. Future work includes adding web control capabilities and converting Gerber files to G-code for printing circuit boards.

3. Problem Statement
• Ferric Chloride (FeCl3) used in Conventional Etching
process is hazardous and kind of toxic waste.
• The etching process takes long time.
• Conventional method is expensive when Fabrication is
small scaled.

4. Proposed Solution
To counter this problem a model of PCB CNC machine is
developed that is:
• Low cost
• Fast
• Precise
• Environmental friendly.
