The results show that the majority of people who answered the questionnaire are people
aged 15-219 which is the prime age for a job therefore it’s a good area to target. Its also
good that we got two people aged over 25 so we can see views from there prospective.

Our questionnaire showed us that 15 out of 21 people watch TV everyday. But, no one
never watches TV therefore people will always watch TV in there lifetime.

that 19/21 people said they watch
TV in the evening. I believe this is
the most popular answer for this
question because it’s the time
were everyone is home from
work/school and were people have
there tea therefore most people
are able to watch TV at this time.
Only a few watch TV in the
mornings which may be down to
people have to rush off to work
and not having time to relax in the
morning.

are ITV, Channel 4 and E4. This may be down to that the most popular/talked
about shows happen on these channels and the rest are just channels people
occasionally turn to.

watching TV. This may be due to most people who work in schools for example
have the weekend off work therefore they have time to watch TV. Days during the
week are very poor for people watching TV which may be because people don't
have time to.

interesting. This is valuable because if people don’t find them interesting then

The questionnaire results show that the most popular documentaries that
interest people are ones that are very factual. This may be because people
enjoy finding out facts about other people/things that they may not know. The
least popular documentaries are like music and food which may be down to
people not having much of an interest for them types.

have a job. This could be down to many reasons like they don't want one, they

The most popular job that people have shown to be a sales assistant. This
may be due to the fact that there are many retail stores all over therefore it
may be easier to get a job there and also because you don’t tend to need to
be 18 years of age because you don’t have to serve alcohol.

The questionnaire shows that again the most
popular first job for people will be a sales
assistant due to the reason just explained on the
previous slide. The other jobs listed are not a
popular first job maybe due to people mostly
getting the job through family who work there.

The questionnaire shows that the most popular age for getting a first job is
between 14-17 years. This may be due to people not going off to university yet
therefore it’s a prime age for people to get there first job. No one had there first
job over the age of 21 which shows 21 is the highest age people get there first
job.

Much more than over half of the people that answered the questionnaire believe
that teenagers should get jobs. This may be down to the fact that the price of
things has increased over time and there is more of a demand for more popular
things that other people have therefore people need jobs to afford things now a

The questionnaire shows that nearly everyone doesn’t have a child over the
age of 15. This then shows that people don’t need a job and the money to
help pay for there children they need the money to pay for everyday living for
themselves.

The results for this question show that parents don't force there
children to get a job which is good because if the child is in
college/school they may find they're getting too much pressure put
on them to do loads of things.

This question shows that the majority of people think that there is not
enough jobs for teenagers. This may be due to the fact for some jobs you
have to be a certain age of the fact that increase population in the world
as lead to there being not enough jobs.

The results for this question show most people believe that it is clever for people
to get a job while there are still in college or university but five people also believe
that it’s not clever. They may think this because they may see it as the time they
spend working could be time spent studying but then the other side shows they
need money to help pay for there living.

Out of 21 people, two people believe the minimum wage is fair for 16 year olds
but 14 people believe it’s not. There are two sides to this because everyone
has different living conditions as some families may not have as much money
as other families therefore money may be more precious to some than others.

jobs for the young which shows that are idea is a good one that can bring
an audience in. Five people said they was unsure about if they would be
interested therefore they may or may not decide to watch it.

Questionnaire results

We chose to ask males and females so our results are varied for different genres otherwise it would be based on one genre.

Its also good that we got two people aged over 25 so we can see views from there prospective.

But, no one never watches TV therefore people will always watch TV in there lifetime.

I believe this is the most popular answer for this question because it’s the time were everyone is home from work/school and were people have there tea therefore most people are able to watch TV at this time. Only a few watch TV in the mornings which may be down to people have to rush off to work and not having time to relax in the morning.

This may be down to that the most popular/talked about shows happen on these channels and the rest are just channels people occasionally turn to.

This may be due to most people who work in schools for example have the weekend off work therefore they have time to watch TV. Days during the week are very poor for people watching TV which may be because people don't have time to.

WHAT TYPES OF DOCUMENTARIES INTEREST YOU?  Crime : 6  Animals : 4  Food : 1  Factual : 7  Music : 1  Real life situations : 1 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Interest Series 1 The questionnaire results show that the most popular documentaries that interest people are ones that are very factual. This may be because people enjoy finding out facts about other people/things that they may not know. The least popular documentaries are like music and food which may be down to people not having much of an interest for them types.
  • 10. DO YOU HAVE A JOB?  Yes : 9  No : 12 Job Yes No The results show that just over half of the people who took the questionnaire don't have a job. This could be down to many reasons like they don't want one, they cant find one for example.

This may be due to the fact that there are many retail stores all over therefore it may be easier to get a job there and also because you don’t tend to need to be 18 years of age because you don’t have to serve alcohol.

The other jobs listed are not a popular first job maybe due to people mostly getting the job through family who work there.

AT WHAT AGE DID YOU GET YOUR FIRST JOB?  Below 13 : 2  14 - 17 : 9  18 – 21 : 2  Over 21 : 0 First job Below 13 14 - 17 18 - 21 Over 21 The questionnaire shows that the most popular age for getting a first job is between 14-17 years. This may be due to people not going off to university yet therefore it’s a prime age for people to get there first job. No one had there first job over the age of 21 which shows 21 is the highest age people get there first job.

This may be down to the fact that the price of things has increased over time and there is more of a demand for more popular things that other people have therefore people need jobs to afford things now a

This then shows that people don’t need a job and the money to help pay for there children they need the money to pay for everyday living for themselves.

This may be due to the fact for some jobs you have to be a certain age of the fact that increase population in the world as lead to there being not enough jobs.

They may think this because they may see it as the time they spend working could be time spent studying but then the other side shows they need money to help pay for there living.

There are two sides to this because everyone has different living conditions as some families may not have as much money as other families therefore money may be more precious to some than others.

Only one person planed to stay in education until 16 years therefore 20/21 people plan to stay in education until 18 years.

WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN WATCHING A DOCUMENTARY ON JOBS FOR THE YOUNG?  Yes : 15  No : 1  Not sure : 5 0% 20% 40% 60% 80% 100% Yes No Not sure Documentary Documentary 15/21 people said they would be interested in watching a documentary on jobs for the young which shows that are idea is a good one that can bring an audience in. Five people said they was unsure about if they would be interested therefore they may or may not decide to watch it.
