1. STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS
The main reasons I have for taking this syllabus “Psycholinguistics” are to learn
the language development by stages. I expect to study the forms of language
development which are phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and
pragmatics. Besides, I would like to identify the central neurological system and
language process based on the linguistic model.
I think this course will contribute to my future professional life because I will
learn different perspectives and disciplines to study the human development in
children and their ability to learn the second language. Furthermore, students
will know the best age for teaching and learning the language to have students
motivated and be able to communicate effectively in a good atmosphere.
In conclusion, this syllabus will help me to be a good professional in the future
applying the appropriate techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere
because it will help me to improve the process of teaching-learning where
students will acquire the English language in a better way.
