This document describes the steps to perform Parivrtta Parsvakonasana or Revolved Side Angle Pose. From a standing position with arms raised, the practitioner exhales and turns one leg 90 degrees while bending the other leg so the thigh is parallel to the floor. The trunk and opposite leg are then rotated so the arm is placed over the bent knee and the hand rests by the foot, with the spine twisted to look over the raised arm.
