6. Psychological Approach
 Simple meaning of Psychology:
 It is the Science of the mind, human mind is the most
complex machine on the earth. It is the source of all thought and
behavior.
 Frankenstein is a novel that finds itself a victim of psychological
criticism.
 Victor Frankenstein had no plans to create both male and female, but
request for female companion comes as a sock to his psychological
nature.

work.
 Promethean myth from Ovid
 John Milton’s ‘Paradise Lost’
 S.T Coleridge’s ‘The Rime of the Ancient Mariner’
 Victor Frankenstein's innovative work of the Titan in creating
humans as break rules of nature.
 The novel also uses subtitle ‘The Modern Prometheus’.
