 Highly proficient in installation and configuration of customer based
equipment in all copper, fiber and GSM (GSM/LTE broadband) based
products, I manage the planning, coordination and delivery to the end user
as well as core infrastructure maintenance, installation and PE
commissioning. I am responsible for providing training and assistance to
BSA technicians, Connectel contractors and internal staff within the Optus
infrastructure, the requesting and supervision of contractor work. As a
secondary role I have worked within service assurance and provided
support for FOPs. There is no equipment within Optus network that I
cannot commission, provision, setup, test or install (or design to/with)
 I am experienced in problem solving, fault finding, diagnostics, resolution
of service difficulties, customer compliance to assure normal service
delivery and final solution (network migration) project management.
Commissioning of Huawie DSLAMs(AU5000), Huawei CX600 (X1, X2, X8
and X16), Huawei OptiX 1600 and 1800 DWDM, Alcatel MUXs(1660,
1662, 1642(EM and EMC)), Alcatel 1696 and 1640 FOX DWDM, Alcatel
7270 and 7470, as well as Cisco 7600 Catalyst and Juniper M320 MER
router installation.
 I have very good working knowledge of network test equipment, including
OTDRs, JDSU (HST3000, Metro NID/NODE), BlueLight, PRA and various
E1, X.21, V.35, 75ohm, ISDN, xDSL and Ethernet testers.
 Working in remote locations from Cairns to Mt.Isa to Roma to Coffs
Harbor and everything in-between.
 Current and past projects include: Suncorp, ANZ, Boeing, QML, DoD,
Vodafone, Virgin, AAPT, Department of Health, Councils (BCC, ICC and

worked in the field, provided support in HSD and maintained
the network.
