7. Portfolio Architecture - Mars 2017 - 7
I am a young architect and designer, born in Yaoundé
(Cameroon). I have started my college studies at the College
Evangelique in N’djamena in the field of mathematics and
physics. I went in Dakar in 2008 to learn architecture at +the
College Universitaire d’Architecture de Dakar (CUAD). After
two years working in Sénégal, i went to Ecole Africaine des
Métiers de l’Architecture et de l’urbanisme (EAMAU) for two
years to get the master degree of architecture. I joined
ARCHINOVA SARL-U for one full year internship and i leave
to paris to learn more about the design by data at Ecole
des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC). and works for Architecture
FARDIN for 6 months. .I launch the K-ANTS in the field of
architecture and design. I am interested in the relationship
that the man have with the nature. I am also fascinated by
the new technologies, the influence of the developpement
of the advanced 3D modeling, material science, automated
fabrication, computational design and programing. I use the
backgrounfd i have in mathematic, architecture and coding
to trackle complex challenges in geometry and optimisation.
The architecture is a visual art and a way for expressing
in a creative universe in constrant expansion. For me
architecture is neither coffee nor milk but coffee with milk
because a subtile mixture can reveal the beauty of the arts.

THE SEE & THE UNSEEN
The challenge in this project of
headquarter was in the structure of the
building and in the aesthetics looked for.
To see two identical and different parts
of the building raises the question of the
seen and the unseen. The site of the
project is in an urban and very dense
area and binding bring us to redefine
the green spaces in a building of bank.
We create on the building some green
space for health and comfort. The design
of the facade is quite easy and involve
the data of sun and wind because of
the proximity of the site and the sea. By
drawing a random path, we generate
attractor for aesthetic result and we
do then a design using parameters.

HOSPITAL & HOTEL
For a third party, we propose in one
site divided by a road two projects : an
hotel and a hospital face to face. We
manage to find the best way to design
that by finding the best design and for
the facade. We wanted to remind that
the projects are the same even the
function and the organization are different.
Conceived as an cubic volume that
adapting to the terrain reliefs and
developing the interior spaces in relation
with the surrounding vegetation, the
facade building open its interiors to
the surrounding city in order to offer
to the traveler a tourism alternative
that promotes the understanding of the
natural environment and its conservation.

BETWEEN OFFICES AND HOTEL
The project named ““the board””
want to experiment a dynamic and
lively facade by colors and form..
Situated in a narrow environment, and
with spatial constraints, we wanted to
mark this project by random polygons.
The stairwell and the elevator is
marked by a vertical metallic element,
that creating a contrast. The main
fonction will be for the offices, and we
create luxury bedroom for travellers.

OFFICES BUILDINGS
Inspired by a regular box setting,
this project was designed by a
very simple concept : boxes are
crossing each others like containers..
The first proposition for the facade is a
perforated concrete panel in the front,
designed regarding to the quantity
of light we want to have for offices
behind the bacade. For the back we
choose randoms boxes to keep the
concept and so we put them regarding
also to the desired. quantity of light .

NEW CITY IN BURKINA FASO
This project was proposed by Architecture
Fardin for the proposal of the new
city Yennenga. The promising real
estate CGE who is the author of this
competition, wished a proposal of green,
ecological city, but also accessible by the
local population. In this way, we design
the city and my task way the design
of the park, the obelisk and also the
main tower building for the future city.

In search of a new identity for the abandoned island Poveg-
lia, which concept best suits to the creation of a university?
Our project intends outside the box by its ap-
proach and ambitions, it is a university poet-
ic originality that we call the timeless university.
For being a geriatric hospital in the past, then a deserted
island today Poveglia becomes a reference in the future.
The old buildings that we propose to renovate we as-
sociate a biological structure dominated by a lighthouse
that will guide both the sailors and tourists. This desire
to fuse past, present and future will allow a technologi-
cal and economic boom for the island and attract the
world and promote the survival of this intelligent island.
First, we propose that the old buildings are renovat-
ed and used for administration and some students
space. Then, on an approximate area of 23,500 square
meters will be constructed new buildings for teach-
ing areas, a panoramic restaurant and an auditorium.

I always had a particular interest for the individual
in the society and the sport as well as for its
simplest function of socialization, this project represent
the outcome of my master degree in architecture.
The project handled under the theme “ Sport center
for N’Djamena “ is apply in the current context of the
promotion of the sport in the Chad. This way, it aims
to take forward the conception of sports equipment by
suggesting integrating it architectural and community qualities.
The concept behind, the POROSITY come from our desire
to explore how the technical concept and the dynamic
integration of the space could strengthen the bases of a dense
architectural design at the heart of a dynamic urban area.
By exploring the porosity, the creation of a porous
architectural and urban work becomes subject to a direct
and varied exploitation. The porosity generated from a
theoretical approach between the scientific methodology
and the intuitive approach allows an architectural and
urban sculpture to govern and to modulate some
fluids (the air, the sound, the sunbeams, the human
movements, etc.) Circulating in its immediate environment.

In this project. The design was in-
spired by the song, or in some
ways the wave. The torsion involve
the time and the whole building is
an expression of freedom and liberty.
The challenge, as in many context is relat-
ed to the materials but also to the gravity.
This is the new auditorium.

3D PRINT PROCESS
3D printing or additive manufacturing is a pro-
cess of making three dimensional solid objects
from a digital file.
Some advantages :
1. True rapid prototyping
2. Rapid design iteration
3. Low volume of production
4. Mass customization
5. Virtual inventory
6. Long tail of parts
For our project, the 3d print allow us to see
if the theoretical part of the design fit to the
reality.
