1. My name is leonardo kappel
I am from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I am
an architecture student with work experience in
multiple offices. Here I worked on large scale
projects such as museums, educational buildings
and cultural meeting grounds as well as on small
scale projects that include the design of furniture
and small residences.
I have a degree in engineering and am in the
last stages of finishing my master in architecture.
Besides the built environment I have a wide
array of interests, I have a bachelor in medicine,
a minor in evolutionary biology and a deep
appreciation for sociology and philosophy. I’ve
lived and worked in several parts of the world
and as an architect I am constantly looking
to emerge myself in all the aspects I feel are
important to understand the users and the space
itself.
Looking at architecture as both a craftsmanship
as well as a theory, I am in a constant search
for collaborations with specialists to create and
theorize about possible solutions.
