As a temporary contracted employee, I coordinate activities associated with the Affordable Care Act. I
became the organizational subject matter expert & liaison with MPC’s benefit broker and conducted
presentations to all levels of management. Analyzed the workforce using payroll reports and worked with
County officials for suggested changes to “payroll types” in order to streamline workforce analysis in the
future. Other assigned duties include I-9 training, audit and correction facilitation. Benefit/Worker’s
Compensation administration for a leave vacancy. Recruitment for temporary personnel using NeoGov
application.

Provide a bookkeeping service targeting sole proprietors running a small business. Unique appeal offered
is personalized financial guidance, which is mobile to the customer. The advantage is to provide a data
input service for small business owners. Current bookkeeping for a family estate.

Payroll Manager, 2005 - 2011
Managed implementation of a new HRIS/Payroll system 2008-2011, managed all payroll functions for
the hourly bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit employees. Direct the implementation of new policies
and programs. Interpret and administer the union agreements in areas related to wage and employment
practices. Implement and monitor changes in wage rates, tax rates, union dues and pension rates.
Supervise the payroll and staff including hiring, performance evaluations, counseling and training.
Administer the weekly payrolls of approximately 5,000+ weekly checks which includes 8 FEIN tax ID's.
Manage the weekly and quarterly tax reporting. IRS liaison for all 8 companies. Manage the department
budget.

Administer the salaried payroll with emphasis on contract administration and identification of compliance
issues. Managed department human resources budget, company headcount budget, protocols, bonus and
merit processes. Responsible for company wide holiday party with a $40K budget.

Manage implementation of a new Paychex Payroll system. Process the company payroll. Maintained
human resource files in compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Contract administration and
compliance in accordance with processing monthly loan draws for various properties. This includes
booking journal entries, managing financial statements, printing checks and issuing lien releases.
