Wearecreatingacharactermetaphorexpressingthesharedfrustration,controversy,and
chaoscausedbyanabuseofpowerduringthepandemicinNewYorkCitythatchannelsa
meaningfulanimatedandreal-lifevisualnarrative.

3. Font & Color Scheme
Thefontutilizedwascarefullythoughtofwithappreciationforthesong'scoverartcreatedby
theband.Ourteaminvestedeffortinselectingthecolorschemeforthefont,andindoingso,
wewereguidedbytheband'spreferencewhichalignedwiththesymboliccolorsofthedevil.

4. Intro
(Animated)
Themusicvideoportraysthebandisolatedinan
apartmentduringthepandemic,expressingthe
collectivefeelingsofisolation,discontent,and
frustration.Onemembercooks,anotherwatchesTV,the
othermemberofthebandisplayingguitar.Thenthey
aredisruptedbynewsonTV.Theyarebombardedwith
videoclips,articles,andsocialmediapostsofadevil
wearingablacksuitwitharedtie.Thischaracter
representsafigurethattakesadvantageofhispower
andcontrolofsociety.

5. 1st Verse
(Animated)
Flippingbetweentwostories:
1.Thebandcontinuestoseethedevilinallthemediaalongwith
negativecommentstowardhim.Thentheyseenewsabouthimon
TVshowinghimatarally,whippingthecrowdwithawhipwhile
holdinghistorch,directingthemtotheCapitoltoattack.
2.Theband’sangerescalateswhichinspiresthemtowriteasong.
Thesceneshowstheminastudiorecordingandmakingmusic.
Attheendoftheverse,thedeviliswalkingtotheapartment.

6. 1st Chorus
(Animated)
Thescene'ssuspenseandhorrorriseasthedevilsuddenlywalkstowards
thedoor,deliveringamysteriouspackage.Thedevilthenknocksonthe
doortodropitoff.Thebandthenbecomescuriousbutanxious.After
seeingthedevil,theybecomefrustratedtoanextremelevelasthedevil
handdeliversthepackageandslowlywalksaway,settingadramatic
atmosphere.Thebandmemberopensthedoorandsaystothedevil“HEY,
haveyouevereventriedtoempathize”.Hegoesbackinside.Inthe
package,therearedevilhornstosupporthimalongwithapictureofhim.
Then,oneofthebandmembersplacesthepictureonthewallandusesitas
atargettoplaydarts.

7. 2nd Verse
(Animated-Real-life)
Asthegroupcontinuestothrowdartsattheimage,theysee
thatbloodbeginstoflowfromthepicturewhenevertheyhit
him,causingdamageandweakeninghiminreallifeatthesame
time.Asthedeviltriestoleavetheapartmentbuilding,he
collapsesintheelevator.Then,awomangoestousethe
elevatorbutseesthedevilandscreams.Thebandgoesto
checkwhysheyelledandseesthedevil.Then,theband
kidnapsthedevilandtakeshimtothebasementontheground
level.Astheyaregoingdownintheelevator,theanimation
switchestoreallifewiththeexceptionofthedevil.

8. 2nd Chorus
(Real-life)
Thebandthengoestothestudio.Theybeginto
setuptoperformthesongtheywroteonalive
stream.Thesceneshowsclipsofthedevilcovering
hisearsandstrugglingforhislifeashegets
weakerandweakerasthepowerofmusicslowly
killshim.Therearealsoclipsoffanswatchingthe
livestreamfromhomeandrockingout.

9. Bridge

Showclipsoftheguitarsolofromdifferent
shotsoftheguitarandbandmember,and
alsogetclipsoffingersplayingtheguitar.
Thenshowthedevilgettingweakerasthey
play.
