Electrical and Mechanical Engineer with specialization in Project Management of facilities projects.
Twenty six (26) years of experience in the development, design, execution, construction and commissioning of
Onshore Upstream process plants, gas compression, multidisciplinary projects, maintenance management on Oil and
gas industry, Industrial and commercial plants. Designer of piping system and electrical system in the oil & gas

As I&E Team Lead in Midland I was responsible for providing technical I&E (instrumentation and electrical) support to

control design team to deliver seamless small project construction work packages. Interfaces with the process and

I Develop instrumentation and control discipline deliverables and where required, works with engineering contractors

for technical mentoring for new and other Engineers.
As Facilities Engineering Team leader in Argentina I was involved for approximately 2 concurrent upstream Major
Capital Projects (porche and etep at ph2) and 4 large Small Capital Projects in El Trapial Field Argentina. Porche
Major Capital Project ranged in conceptual, base and detail eng, span a 4 year period. The small projects was from
El Trapial and Puesto Flores brown field development during which (4 years) 120-aprox additional wells were drilled
with production and injection capacity increased by 150,000 bfpd.with total CapEx of $450mm of which $150mm
were facilities scope. During this time interfacing was required with a diverse population of internal team members,
operations external ( Local authorities, unions), local contractors and international suppliers.
Boscán Field, Maracaibo Venezuela acting as Facilities Senior Eng. the scope include the design of two power plants
40MW each. design and implementations of Scada and automation for all Boscan field, 500 wells, 115,000 Barrels
per day.
Presented many project decision support packages to all levels in the organization including Country Managers,
Decision Review Boards, other teams and peers. Representing Chevron Argentina during OCM/TCM with partners
and participation in meetings with Government representatives as required.

EXPERIENCE:

I&E team leader for Central Permian projects ( June 2013- up today)
Directly responsible for providing technical I&E (instrumentation and electrical) support to existing base operations
and managing a portfolio of small capital projects. Leading the effort to work with the MCBU (Midcontinent business
unit, for all central Permian and Delaware basin) for electrical and instrumentation design team to deliver seamless
small project construction work packages. The small capital project portfolio has been executed since 2013- Present
with a total expenditure of 250MM US $.
During this time all type of control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA, and SIS) and field instrumentation were design,
leading procurement, system fabrication, and installation in onshore oil & gas facilities for Central Permian, Midland
and Delaware basin.
I lead the team in troubleshooting instrument & control problems, incident investigation, providing front end
engineering support, detailed I&E design reviews and project commissioning support.
I worked with external contract engineering and construction companies, e.g. I monitored work standards of company
and contract personnel (120+) and provided daily guidance and work direction to the engineers in order to ensure
proper application of CES ( Chevron engineering standards), API, NEC and design assurance process.
Ability to advise capital projects & operations:
 On power generation and distribution system scoping, selection & design. Power system analysis, including
protective relaying, fast load shedding, etc.
 Installation and specification pf large rotating electrical equipment ( up to 6500HP)
 Power management, load shed systems. Electrical equipment and electrical system integrity and reliability.
 Interfaces with local utilities and serves as main technical contact for Chevron with utilities.
On site safety leadership displayed on a regular basis, Field visit once per month

Chevron Argentina:
Major Capital projects, Lead facilities Eng. ( June2008-June 2013 )
Directly responsible for the Facilities Engineering discipline for approximately 2 concurrent upstream MCPs and 4
large Small CPs in El Trapial Field, Argentina. The Major Capital Projects ranged from conceptual, base to detail eng,
from 2008 to 2010. This projects were for El Trapial brown Field development, during which 300 aprox additional
wells were added and production and injection capacity increased by 150,000 bfpd, with total CapEx of $280mm of
which $100MM were within the facilities scope. Also large small capital project portfolios have been executed since
2010- Present. During these 4 years a regular interfacing with a diverse population of internal team members,
external, local and international contractors and suppliers was required. I supervised a team of 12+ employees, 6+
contractors, in addition to multiple engineering and construction contractors. I applied CPDEP assurance processes,
VIP's, as well as Small Capital Project Systems to provide successful project outcomes.
I worked with external contract engineering and construction companies, e.g I monitored work standards of company
and contract personnel (60+) and provided daily guidance and work direction to apply CES standards and design
assurance process.

Partner engagement and interaction (including TCM mettings with YPF and regular meeting with province
authorities). I demonstrated the ability to work with diverse people (Field Operations, D & C, Reservoir Engineers,
Production Engineers, Geologists, construction teams, Planning, HSE, HHRR, Finance, PGPA, Commercial, etc.).
On site safety leadership displayed on a regular basis, Field visit once per month ( ET Field is 1200Km from Buenos
aires office) Sincere believer and supporter of "zero is attainable". I coparticipated in the development of IIF program
for Chevron Argentina. Leader of the design, development and implementation of the construction management
system in CA (PH4tool box). This system covers all aspects including design, contrating, safety plans models, site
inpections, quality requirements etc.

Management of engineering and construction activities. Development of projects through CPDEP phase gates 1-5.

sessions including Economic and Technical Analyses, DQ, DEQ, PEP, FEL assessment and Risk Assessment.
Key participation in Lookback process as well as Lessons Learned capture and sharing.

Boscán Field, Operations Electrical maintenance Senior Eng supervisor. (Nov 2005- April 2008)
Electrical Eng Supervisor, Responsible for electrical maintenance and the associated OE process in Boscan Field:
this included: 530 wells (115,000 oil production, 540Km of overhead 24,000 volts lines, 21 flow stations and 2
dehydrators plants. The total capacity of the electrical system was 120MW. Total workforce (including the daily
personnel): 120 employees. I supervised 6 Eng.FE team lead responsible for the design and implementation of the
most important reliability project in Boscan Field: 4 years multistage project. 2009 look back shows:
DPI of 4.1, NPV19.7 MMUS $, Total Saved Volume 2006 – 2009, 0,988 MMBOE. Application of 2 new technologies
during the execution of this project.
Activities also include:
During this time all maintenance operations were in compliance with company HSE, IEEE, NFPA policies and
Operational Excellence processes. My focus was on fullfilment of the applicable codes and standards for electrical
systems. I served on Field Safety Stearing Committee. I developed OE behaviors and encouraged direct reports to
support Operational Excellence. I monitored and participated as a leader in the group formal safety meetings; I took
appropriate actions on safety issues raised. Focus on all Company and contract equipment used in the group to be fit
for service and certified where required.
