WORK EXPERIENCE:
Working as a Junior Marine Structural Engineer in “AceEngineer” Kakinada. Since August 2015.
Worked as Trainee maintenance engineer at “AUROBINDO” Bollaram, Hyderabad. From
September 2014 to July 2015.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:
Cross over cap
Design a preliminary 3d model for cross over cap.
Conduct yard survey for required dimensions of the cross over cap
Onshore Land Rig Pipe Ramp Design
An onshore rig requires a pipe ramp to transfer drilling equipment from conveyer to a
drill floor.
This ramp is to be designed to ensure safe loading for field life.
The main aim is to design and analysis the strength of the ramp.
Intensifier Piston Feasibility Analysis
The intensifier piston analysis is to determine design feasibility.
As part of this structural analysis, the stress and maximum deformation are assessed to
determine the feasibility of piston fabrication and adjacent seal design.
Prepare a 3D model based on client specifications and analysis this model for client
requirements.
Thin wall Pipe Line Analysis
Thin wall pipe line analysis is to be performed perform installation analysis for the
pipeline to provide engineering recommendations to help mitigate buckling risk of high
D/t project pipeline during installation.
Set up the analysis for different D/t ratios to ensure the capacity limit of a pipe
API Flange Coupling Analysis
Key contributor are to conduct a detailed bottom riser adapter spool design analysis to
confirm the bottom riser adapter spool is fit for purpose.
Investigate the required chart for finding the corresponding bore pressure, bending
moment and tension.
Plate Buckling Analysis
Key contributor for determining the buckling stress of the plate in different cases
Identifying the plates in FE Model by understanding the shell expansion drawing of the
model.
The stress in the plate have been calculated using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
