Experience
David J. Frank Landscape Contracting Inc. 2011 – Present
I began my career and DJFLCI in May of 2011 working for a number of crew leaders in the Maintenance
Department. After two years I was promoted to Crew Leader working in both a Specialty and light Reno
capacity. I am also very active in the Snow and Holiday Decorating programs.
Smokes 2010 – 2011
Smokes is a high end tobacconist with five stores in Washington County, Wisconsin – I served as a clerk
taking care of basic shop cleaning and customer service duties. I used to be somewhat of a cigar
connoisseur myself, which allowed me to provide personable and professional customer service.
Financial Recovery Services 2009 – 2010
Financial Recovery Services is a collection agency based in Edina, Minnesota with additional offices in the
Twin Cities and Superior, WI. While many collection agencies receive a “bad rap” for their tactics FRS
prides itself in legal and ethical collection and negotiating tactics, and includes an extensive two-week
training course to achieve this in their licensed collectors – the capacity in which I served the firm.
US Superior Marketing 2008 – 2009
Before the downturn in the economy and the company’s closure, US Superior Marketing served as sub-
contractor to a number of telephone companies processing orders for new telephone and internet service.
At USSM I began on the sales floor managing a sales force that peaked at 93 personnel. I was quickly
promoted to the back office where I split my time between the Quality Assurance Department and serving
as the Administrative Assistant for both the General Manager and Office Manager of the call center.
Education
University Wisconsin Superior 2003 - 2008
At the University of Wisconsin-Superior I studied History, English, and Sociology, focusing on the history of
ideas in Western Europe and East – Asia. I completed my studies in four years but elected to delay my
graduation for a year in order to take part in the Global Village student exchange program – this allowed
me to spend five months in South Korea studying Social Philosophy and East Asian History. I graduated
Magna Cum Laude in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts.

Milwaukee Area Technical College 2014
In the fall of 2014 I took a course in Estimating and Bidding taught by Mike Wendt achieving an A letter
grade in the class. I took the 2015 school year off as my wife and I had our first child and she completed
her degree, but plan to return to MATC for more Horticulture studies with an emphasis in Design Build.
Skills
Generally speaking, I am extremely polite, patient, and professional, and I have an uncanny ability to make
the people around me better. I have an excellent track record in customer service because of my
knowledge and expertise and my ability to relate to customers’ needs. I have a background in research,
analysis, and sociology, which has helped me excel in any management and office position I have held. I
constantly evaluate my performance and myself based on how I can improve, learn, and grow.
