Managed the Transportation Department with 70 employees and a budget of $14 million.
There were 60 drivers and support personnel (Transportation Managers, Supervisors, Dispatch
Dept.) Transportation was responsible for picking up roll off containers in support of the CA used
beverage recycling program (CalRecycle CRV). With over 700 company sites and 80 commercial
sites, rePlanet pickup and processed over 70,000 roll off containers of plastic, aluminum and glass
CRV materials. With the introduction of logistics software for tracking and improved route planning
a reduction of $10 per roll off container was achieved.
