Be part of the Data Management/QA department where the main task is to be in charge of
the online configurator. Work with product management and design engineering to do the
proper setup and coding of the product to be launched, code all possible combinations and
restrictions. Confirm project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and
output requirements according to the project needs.
Be in constant communication with customer service/Product Management /Design Engineer
for the online configurator testing (calico/experlogix) for any design/no-go's issues or
updates. Maintenance of the code programmed for any requested updates.
Link the configurator to the ERP system (JDE Edwards) to backflush items correctly and
make sure the work order prints in the correct stations and correct components.
Work alongside with manufacturing team and finance for this setup and review chair cost,
item backflush.
Help manufacturing and design engineering for any new BOM’s creation or updates. Work
as document control support to assure the correct documentation for each new item/update,
to accomplish all the ISO/FDA regulatory.
Review and implement DCN and ECO’s to secure the correct project life cycle.
Be in constant communication with Tijuana, Canada, Boulder and Fresno facilities to give
them tech support for any systems related support, such as training, correct any issue.
Make sure that all product transferred to Tijuana are setup correctly into the system
