there
is
nothing
but
dry
land,
dessert,
rocks
and
mountains.
Dry
and
lifeless
conditions
in
every
direction.
A
mysterious
cloud
hovers
over
the
dessert
making
thunderous
sounds.
A
drop
of
water
falls
from
high
above
the
dessert
plain.
Making
it’s
way
down
to
the
cracking
dried
up
sand.
The
water
droplet
falls
just
beneath
the
shade
of
a
rock
that
looks
like
it
broke
off
of
a
mountain
centuries
ago.
Days
goes
by
as
the
section
of
soil
somehow
manages
to
stay
under
the
shade
of
this
rock
and
then
a
leaf
sprouts
out
of
the
ground
as
if
it
were
a
hair
on
a
bald
babies
head.
Weeks
and
weeks
go
by
when
we
see
this
plant
grow
into
a
vine
with
leaves
sprouting
out
of
its
sides.
The
vines
are
jagged
but
have
a
firm
foundation
of
a
warm
and
yet
hint
of
cool
brown.
The
bark
all
around
becomes
more
developed
and
defines
the
plant
as
a
more
sustainable
creature.
Weeks
and
weeks
go
by
and
then
from
the
top
of
the
plant
first
there
are
lips,
then
eye
lids.
The
mouth
opens
and
then
comes
a
loud
yawn
that
echoes
throughout
the
dessert
moutains.
The
Pod
Person
develops
into
a
fully
developed
creature
with
arms
and
legs.
By
then
the
Pod
Person
pulls
his
feet
out
of
ground
with
roots
pulling
soil
out
of
the
ground.
In
the
horizon,
the
Pod
Person
can
see
something
green
and
brown
through
all
the
heat
rising
from
the
sand.
He
walks
towards
to
what
he
sees
but
very
slowly
because
he
was
only
born
a
couple
of
months
ago.
When
he
gets
there
he
sees
its

but

female.
They
start
a
family
a
Pod
People
and
start
a
civilization.
