Introduction:
Mathematics is all around us. As we discover more
and more about our environment and our surroundings we
see that nature can be described mathematically. The beauty
of a flower, the majesty of a tree and mountain, even the rocks
upon which we walk can exhibit nature’s sense of symmetry
and patterns. In group of four, describe orally the picture

-Pattern is a group of numbers,
shapes or object that follow a rule
while repeating or changing.
4. Patterns in Nature
-Are visible regularities of forms
found in the nature world.
-Natural patterns includes
symmetries, Trees , Spiral, Wave ,
Foams, Fractals, Rocks, Stripes,
Fracture or cracks and affine
transformation .
5. Symmetry:
➢The quality of being made up of
exactly similar parts facing each
other or around an axis.
6. SPIRAL PATTERN
-In mathematics a spiral is a
curve which emanates from a point,
moving farther away as it resolves
around the point.
8. Fractal :
is a never-ending pattern. Fractals are infinitely
complex patterns that are self-similar across
different scales.
A fractal is a non-regular geometric shape that has
the same degree of non-regularity on all scales.
Fractals can be thought of as never-ending patterns.
10. STRIPES PATTERN:
a long narrow band or strip, typically of the same
width throughout its length, differing in color or texture
from the surface on either side of it.

A standing wave pattern is a
vibrational pattern created within a medium
when the vibrational frequency of the source
causes reflected waves from one end of the
medium to interfere with incident waves from
