I am pleased to supply the following reference for John Roddy.
John has been employed by the Met Office as a contractor from 2nd June 2008 until 27'h Feb
2OOg,intheroleof ProjectTestCo-ordinator. MostofJohn'stimehasbeenspentallocatedtoa
project to deliver a complex new observation collection system. John has overseen the testing
process and co-ordinated several phases of testing carried out by both Met Office and external
contractor experts.
I can confirm that John has particular strengths in his analytical and organisational abilities,
demonstrated by his co-ordination of system experts to provide suitable test environments and
carry out testing to demanding schedules. John has been exceptional at managing the rapidly
changing demands of the project and shown great adaptability in this regard. John has always
delivered to agreed timescales and his test progress reports have been regular, accurate and
clear to understand. I have inserted a statement written by the Project Manager with whom John
has worked closely on this pro.iect.
