RE: Letter of Reference for Leo Tee (Tee Lee Kwong)
Leo Tee worked for Monadelphous Muhibbah Marine (MMM) on the WICET Approach Jetty and Ship
Berth Project in Gladstone between 2012 and 2015. During this time Leo worked closely with me and
the commercial team. This marine based bulk ore handling project with load out capacity of 30 million
tonnes per annum has been a critical project for WICET and being completed during a disrupted and
compressed construction duration resulted in a fast paced and demanding working environment.
During the course of the Project Leo has been a valuable asset to the project team. Whenever he was
introduced to a new work item, he never hesitated to take responsibility for it; and took initiative in seeking
out new work. Leo has undertaken all the responsibilities of a Contracts Administrator role, as well as
having a sound technical understanding of the Project scope and commercial obligations.
His key responsibilities included: planning and preparing subcontractor documents, tracking and
documenting progress, identifying and preparing estimates for variation work, preparing submissions of
variations and progress claims, reviewing and preparing responses to client correspondence,
maintaining site variation and delay records. Leo proved to excel as part of the commercial team as well
as independently.
Leo was hardworking and meticulous in all aspects of his role. He worked closely with all levels of project
personnel including administrators, supervisors, engineers, management and field personnel. He was
quick to comprehend issues as they arose and committed to resolving them. He was organised and kept
site variation, correspondence and progress registers accurate and up to date.
During his engagement on this project Leo earned the respect of his co-workers, supervisors and client
representatives. I have no hesitation in recommending Leo as a diligent and capable employee. Please
