1. More things to think about for your final project—
The script is your barebones research, organized succinctly.
1. It should have an introduction that states the “problem,” situates it within the larger conversation
of that topic and presents a claim/solution to that problem.
2. The main body of the script fleshes out the evidence that you are presenting to persuade your
audience that your solution is viable.
3. You need to have a conclusion for your presentation. What’s the end of the narrative? Why is it
important to engage in conversation about your topic?
The script could expand depending on what format you choose to present your
research.
1. If you chose a whitepaper/greenpaper, it will need to include a cover page, table of content,
visuals and graphics, your annotated bibliography. It will be an expansion of your script.
2. If you chose to do a podcast, screencast, videoblog, etc., your script will be what you read off of
as you “present,” and therefore doesn’t need to be more than five pages, single spaced. The final
draft of your script and works cited page will be uploaded along side your project, so it will need to
have a name and date.
-If you have an idea for a project in a different format than what I’ve mentioned, let’s
talk about it! I’m open to new and creative ideas.
-You can choose to do a strait up research paper. This will need to be at least 8 pages,
MLA format, and of course, include your works cited page.
