Target Audience
Name of Production: JJR Productions
TARGET AUDIENCE:
My target audience reaches out to teenagers/youngadults that are aged
at 16-25. My soap opera addresses the problems that teenagers or
young adults have sufferedand
gives solutions on how to tackle
them. These problems can be
depression, stress or heart break.
The soap opera reaches out to students mainlyfrom secondaryschool to
further education at university. The characters in my soap will be the same
age so the audience feel attracted and can ‘personallyidentify’ – Katz or
find similarities between themselves and the character so they can relate.
Using Maslow hierarchyof needs, his level of esteem, the audience can
find confidence or self-esteemin the character they have similarities with.
