• Guide organizational changes
• Implement new strategies
All 7 S’s are inter-related
So what does it all mean?
1. Strategy
What are your plans for the future?
2. Structure
How is the organization designed?
3. Systems
How do you gather business intelligence?
4. Shared Values
Do your employees understand the core
values?
5. Style
How would you and your employees
describe your department?
6. Staff
Are you staffed and able to serve
customers adequately?
7. Skills
What skills do your employees need now,
what about 1 or 2 years from now?
After examining the 7-S model,
you can start managing your

Determine your part in the
company’s goals.
You should know your part in the overall
business plan

Know what’s expected of you as
manager.

products, services, and systems.
