A business strategic plan is a written
document that points the way forward
for your business. It both lays out your
company’s goals and explains why
they’re important.
Section 1.
Importance
-consists of analysing the business and
setting realistic goals and objectives
-leads to the creation of a formal document
that lays out the company’s views and goals
for the future
-helps you uncover ways to improve
performance
-spark insights about how to restructure your
organization so that it can reach its full
potential
A well-designed strategic plan will
dictate how you respond to
opportunities and challenges of every
color, shape and size.
-provides important opportunities for
employees and managers to collaborate
-provides a sense of direction and outlines
measurable goals
-gives you a place to record your mission,
vision, and values, as well as your long-term
goals and the action plans you’ll use to
reach them
-tells you and your employees how best to
respond to opportunities and challenges
