Drive the agency’s footprint in post-acute, congregate, behavioral health and transitional care market through
management of complex, post-acute operations spanning 7 regions with 2500+ nurses, 500+ rehabilitation

EMERGENCY RESPONSE / COMMUNITY OUTREACH Championed the healthcare industry’s first-ever “Feet on the Ground” emergency response medical outreach initiative for congregate care patients with escalated health risks in the wake of Super Storm Sandy. Organized national/local recovery efforts, heading the development of emergency/response preparedness programs and training/exercise drills working with an Emergency Response Management team. Developed and evaluated after-action reporting activities to measure the success of drills and the response to actual incidents; delivered recommendations; and implemented improvements to the ERS program. Aligned with representatives from city and state DOH and community service organizations. Garnered major media coverage for VNSNY and recognition awards for personal achievements. Joined with department heads agency-wide to educate the homecare staff in the prevention of EBOLA spread. Authored and disseminated informative, comprehensive written and multimedia education materials.
