Dear Potential Donors,
Our annual Giving Hope Gala will be held on October 19, 2019 at the Easton Hilton. This is our largest
fundraiser which supports the mission of treatment and education while raising eating disorder awareness.
Eating disorders are serious, brain-based conditions that are life threatening but with early diagnosis and
treatment, recovery is possible. In Central Ohio, the number of people who will develop an eating
disorder in their lifetime would fill the Ohio State football stadium 1 and a half times! As few as 1 in 10
people with an eating disorder seek treatment. Why? Stigma, shame, myths about eating disorders, fear,
lack of awareness of symptoms and need for treatment, and lack of access to care, just to name a few.
The Center is committed to breaking down those barriers.
We need your help to make the 2019 Giving Hope Gala a success and kindly ask you to consider
donating an item for our Silent Auction. All donations will be noted on our online auction preview. The
auction preview gives our guests the opportunity to see what is available, as well as who our generous
donors are. Please feel free to provide us with your logos, any vouchers you may want to include, how
you would like your information displayed, etc. Your company will be recognized by the guests attending
the gala and everyone involved as having a serious commitment to making a tangible difference in our
community.
We also welcome anyone interested in sponsoring the Giving Hope Gala. If you are interested, more
