The Center for Balanced Living is requesting sponsorships for their annual Giving Hope Gala being held on October 19, 2019 to raise funds and awareness for eating disorder treatment and education. Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses that are life threatening but treatable with early intervention. In Central Ohio alone, the number of people who will develop an eating disorder in their lifetime is equivalent to filling Ohio State football stadium 1.5 times. Sponsorship funds will support the Center's treatment programs and services. Sponsorship levels ranging from $2,500 to $15,000 are available and provide various promotional benefits for sponsoring organizations.

Our annual Giving Hope Gala will be held on October 19, 2019 at the Easton Hilton. This is our largest
fundraiser which supports the mission of treatment and education while raising eating disorder awareness.
Eating disorders are serious, brain-based conditions that are life threatening but with early diagnosis and
treatment, recovery is possible. In Central Ohio, the number of people who will develop an eating
disorder in their lifetime would fill the Ohio State football stadium 1 and a half times! As few as 1 in 10
people with an eating disorder seek treatment. Why? Stigma, shame, myths about eating disorders, fear,
lack of awareness of symptoms and need for treatment, and lack of access to care, just to name a few.
The Center is committed to breaking down those barriers.

2019 Giving Hope Gala a success. As a sponsor, your company will be represented on all of our
