9. AD Certification Scheme aims to:
• Improve performance of AD industry – environmental, health and safety and
operational.
• Ensure operators have access to information and guidance.
• Improve reputation of AD, helping us deliver policy objectives.
• Demonstrate industry’s commitment to achieving high standards.
• Reward operators who participate.
10. What is the ADCS?
• Voluntary certification scheme – operators can choose whether to apply.
• Audit process carried out by independent Certification Body.
• Certification process is set out in the Scheme Rules and Criteria documents.
