‘Operational Performance’ refers to how well a plant is delivering its intended
functions. For AD plants, the primary function is to convert organic material
into energy (in the form of biogas) and digestate.
Operational performance more generally includes on-going compliance with
all applicable legislation and delivering a safe working environment for site
operatives.
