Statement
of
Teaching
Philosophy
Teaching
a
successful
class
energizes
me.
Adult
learners
who
yearn
for
knowledge
inspire
me.
My
internal
motivation
reaches
a
high
point
when
students
are
excited
about
the
course
topic
and
actively
participate
in
the
class.
One
of
the
most
satisfying
aspects
of
teaching
is
making
a
positive
impact
on
a
student’s
academic
life
and
helping
them
achieve
their
goals.
I
believe
that
students
learn
best
when
they
are
active
participants
in
the
class.
I
feel
that
students
grow
as
learners
and
critical
thinkers
when
they
can
relate
theory
to
real
life
situations,
and
are
challenged
to
think
and
analyze
outside
the
box.
I
like
to
use
examples
of
experiences
from
my
own
life’s
work
to
help
students
translate
theory
into
practice
and
to
apply
new
knowledge
to
their
work
and
life.
This
is
often
achieved
in
a
classroom
discussion
format
with
peer
response,
case
study,
and
critical
analysis.

Prior
to
this
