Each weekJenniferandIcollaboratedanddiscussedcurriculum,teachingstrategies, assessmentdata,
and studentinterventions. Jenniferhashigh,butreasonable,expectationsforherstudents,andthen
she providesthemwith the toolstosucceed. Herteachingtechniqueskeepherstudentsmotivatedand
engaged,whichisreflectedinherstudents’assessmentscores.
Jenniferreadilytriesnewteachingstrategiestoaccommodate the varietyof studentlearningneedsin
herclassroom. She recognizesearlywhenastudentisstrugglingandtakesstepstoprovide needed
intervention. Jennifercaresdeeplyabouteachof herstudentsandworkshard to ensure none are left
behind.
One of Jennifer’sgreateststrengthsasateacheris buildingrelationshipswithherstudents. Her
effectiveclassroommanagementandstrongrelationshipscreate asafe environmentwhere students
feel confidentabouttryingnewthingsandtakingrisks. Itisobviousthatherstudentsknow how much
Jennifercaresaboutthemasmany of her previousstudentsreturntovisitwithher.
