Mr. Evans teaches AP Statistics. He has over 17 years of teaching experience and advanced degrees in mathematics and education. The goals of the course are to complete the syllabus, encourage statistical thinking, and promote further study in related fields. The AP exam consists of multiple choice and free response questions and will be on May 11. The course, which satisfies college statistics requirements, focuses on chapters 7-12 and exam preparation. Past students have achieved high pass rates, with over 30% scoring a 5 on the exam. Homework is assigned regularly and grades are based on tests, quizzes, projects, and classwork.
