2. INTRODUCTION
• This proposes a INTELLIGENT CLASSROOM AUTOMATION
SYSTEM.
• To develop a module, so that this will be very much useful for the
faculties to collect information within time.
• Automated attendance system is specifically developed keeping in
mind the need and requirements for the flawless functioning.
• This also used to share information through one way
communication
• It can also display text messages…This system is a consolidation
of various modules integrated to maintain a proper work flow
which functions in class smartly.
3. • This system is used to collect information from all section. The
collected information is send to the department and to the
system admin and also to the parents whose ward is absent on
that day.
• This system is used in one way communication for voice
dialing by staffs and receiver end at class for students aware,
this is followed by a text message sent is displayed in a LCD
display.
• This system is kept in a class to send and receive information.
• The information is sent by using GSM module.
OBJECTIVES
4. DELIVERABLES
• It provides SMS alert to parent’s when their ward is absent.
• Total number of absentees is sent to the class advisor.
• It provides alert message through mobile phone.
• It can be effectively used for voice dialing.
• It can also be used to display the information by means of text
message.

8. PROPOSED MODEL
• They are reliable and malfunctioning of PIC percentage is
very less. And performance of the PIC is very fast because
of using RISC architecture.
• Power conception is also very less when compared to other
micro controllers.
• When we see in the programmer point of view interfacing
is very easy, also we can connect analog devices directly
with out any extra circuitry and use them.
• Uses simple SMS, Call and GPRS functionality then use
SIM900A as it is lower in cost.
10. After initializing the system asks for the verification, so
that only the faculty can operate it using secret pin. After that
the code is verified.
VERIFICATION
11. MENU
After the initializing is done, the menu for the third and
fourth year is shown to enter the absentee’s details.
12. To enter the absentee’s details of third year “001” has
to be typed; after completing to entre the absentee’s details of
fourth year “002” has to be typed.
AUTOMATIC ATTENDANCE SYSTEM
13. The absentees details are entered by entering the students
register number so that the wards parent will receive notification
as:
14. For example, student RAJESH is absent on this day, so
his parent will receive a message; the message sent is confirmed
by “MSG FORWARDED”.
CALLING
The one way communication is done using GSM module.
15. DIGITAL NOTICE BOARD
We have to add “#” in front of text, so that the sent
message will be displayed on the LCD screen.
SYSTEM OFF
To end up the system we have to press 12 zeros i.e.,
“000000000000” is used.
After the system is halt, the total number of absentees is
sent to the class advisor.
17. ADVANTAGES
Reduce work burden for man power.
Increasing information accuracy.
Follows time management and sends
information to the faculties and parents within
time.
18. CONCLUSION AND FUTURE MODEL
Thus we conclude, the performance of this device is done
successfully for attendance system, voice dialing and text
message.
The future scope of our project is to collect attendance list
from all departments by using BOT.
