4. L.O.1 - Surat Al Hujurat: 10 minutes
Task 1: facts about the surah
◦ Search for 5 facts about the Surah, such as:
1) When the surah was revealed?
2) What does name of the surah literally mean?
3) Where was it revealed?
4) Reason of revelation
5) Main aspects of the surah Note the facts in your notebook

5. L.O. 2- Surat Al Hujurat: 10 minutes
◦ Task 2: Telawah (Recitation)
1) Listen to the recitation on the screen and follow in your Quran sheet
2) Practise recitation the first 2 ayaat
3) The teacher will evaluate your recitation
(If you need to practise more (Lower level student) then you will be given around
5 more minutes.
If your recitation is of a very good/excellent level (higher level student), then
start Hifth (memorisation) of the two ayaat.

6. L.O. 3 – Surat Al Hujurat 5 minutes
Task 3: Tafseer (Meaning of
Ayaat)
◦ In pairs students will link words
of ayah 1 to its meaning in
English (word by word)
◦ Then will tell the general
meaning of the two first ayaat.

7. L.O. 4: Surat Al Hujurat 5 minutes
◦ Task 4: Tajweed
1) From what you remember, find
examples of Tafkheem and
Tarqeeq of letter Raa from the
ayaat 1-10 from surat Al Hujurat.
2) Then explain all the stop signs
you may come across also in the
ayaat of 1-10 of surat Al Hujurat.
