Senior Operations Officer, National Military Command Center, Pentagon, Arlington

Supervisor:Chief of Operations, Army Operations Center, Pentagon
Served as the Senior Operations Officer in the Army Operations Center. Provided essential information to
Senior Army leadership concerning events around the world that may pose a threat to the security of the
American people. Performed a wide variety of administrative tasks including preparation of various
reports and briefings using Microsoft Office. Assisted in tracking the equipment, personnel and training
status of personnel deployed around the world. Assisted in the supervision of 29 Army personnel.
2. Regional Supervisor for the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program in Northern
Afghanistan - December 2012 to November 2013.
Supervisor: Commander, 402d AFSB, Bagram Air Base Afghanistan
Oversaw a 1.2 Billion dollar contract that provided maintenance and supply support to 53 US Bases
housing over 50,000 personnel in Northern and Eastern Afghanistan. Ensured the contractor met the
requirements of the contract and advised unit commanders and other military personnel on contractor
capabilities and limitations. Planned and coordinated the 25% reduction of contractors and material as
bases were closed between March 1 and November 1, 2013.
Operations Officer for Army Material Command, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville Alabama -
August 2011 to August 2012
Supervisor: Chief of Operations, Army Material Command.
Monitored Army Logistics Operations around the world. Briefed the AMC Commander and Senior
Operations Officer of events effecting logistics support to units in two war zones. Advised on assignments
from senior leaders at the Pentagon. Helped plan and coordinate operations needed to keep over
600,000 military and civilian personnel supplied and equipped.
Deputy Sheriff Whitfield County Sheriff’s Department, Dalton Ga: January – August 2011
Supervisor: Patrol Division Captain
Duties included firearms instructor, First Aid Instructor and armorer for Glock and AR-15 weapons.
Conducted patrol, accident investigation and initiated investigations into criminal offenses. Also trained as
a school resource officer. Participated in gang interdiction operations and school safety programs.
Enforced state and county criminal and traffic laws.
Brigade Operations Officer, Joint Base Balad, Iraq - November 2009 – November 2010
Supervisor: Commander 402 Army Field Support Brigade
Ensured maintenance, repair and fielding of new equipment for forces deployed to Iraq was conducted
efficiently. Assisted in the supervision of over 10,000 contractor, Department of the Army Civilians and
military personnel. Briefed the Brigade Commander on any issues that effected support to troops in the
field. Anticipated and planned for any contingency that may impact operations to include weather
conditions, terrorist activity or contract disputes. Ensured all military personnel met annual training
requirements. Coordinated disposition of property worth over one billion dollars at various property
redistribution yards scattered throughout Iraq. Ensured that emergency response forces were properly
equipped, armed and supplied so they could respond to significant terrorist events in less than 24 hours.
Brigade Deputy Commander, Fort Bragg, North Carolina – June 2007 to September 2009.
Supervisor: Commander 2125th Mobilization Brigade
Assisted in the supervision of approximately 900 personnel responsible for preparing soldiers for
deployment to Afghanistan and Iraq. This preparation included training, equipping and verification of
medical fitness. Prepared approximately 10,000 soldiers for deployment including units from New York,
Illinois, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
