PURPOSE
Why we do what we do
AnyConnect envisions a future where cameras act as smart extended digital
eyes and ears for end users, communities, corporations and nations using them.
In this future, connected smarter cameras will generate actionable insights, in a
secure and data-privacy compliant way, to help instantaneously understand, act
on, or control any given development within its periphery. It is through this
enablement, that we seek to build a better future.

VISION
What we are working toward
A world of smarter cameras, where AnyConnect is the #1 platform of choice
powering the underlying technologies that power these devices. Our technology
platform enables edge interference on any number of cameras with any AI co-
processor, from training to interference collection. Through this, we aim to
provide the best user experience from vision to connectivity and through a
wealth of 3rd party integrations, aspiring to make best-in-class products with
our customers. We will constantly strive to keep our smarter camera platform,
and the products using it secured. With this, we envision a world of smarter
cameras, accessible to anyone at anytime.
Our Culture
A company’s culture represent the values of
an organisation. This culture code is what
makes AnyConnect special, and puts our core
beliefs as a company, into a cultural canon
which we espouse and practice. When we
arrive at a cross-roads and are unable to
decide on the path to take, we use these
cultural values to guide decision-making.

Flexibility
We believe that different people work differently and deliver great work in
environments that take this into account.
Before any team member joins, we do a thorough check with your listed
references, to truly understand how you work, and the working
environment you thrive in. Some people like structure, others hate it. We
do our best to accommodate within reasonable means.
Our approach in work is one centred around measurement by
deliverables. So long as good work gets delivered, then we don’t like to
fuss about the how.
In many cases, many team members do not have fixed working hours. We
measure performance not by hours clocked, but by results driven, and
output of work.

1. Base hours of 10am-5pm to foster an
environment that values work-life balance.
2. Output-based measurement of work
performance.
3. Work-from-home policies.
4. Office curfews (we try to end at the
maximum of 8pm).

Autonomy with Accountability
At AnyConnect, we keep teams intentionally lean in order to not have bloat
positions that bog down team operations instead of assist it. Everyone is
here for a reason, with objectives tied to their roles.
With this hiring philosophy, we empower employees with a great degree of
autonomy in their scope of work and duties.
To be autonomous is to have the freedom to make decisions within their
capacity, with regards to their work, based on their judgment and
assessment of whatever being’s decided on.
This autonomy comes tied with accountability for those very decisions
they make. So use your freedom within logical and well-reasoned bounds,
to ensure any decision is the best one.

Come-as-you-are
We do more than value diversity, we embrace it. As of today, our team
make-up consists of over 12 nationalities from all over the world – and
form this we learn form invaluable cultural exchanges while at work.
Want to wear trackpants to work? Sure. Shorts? Definitely. Have all the
colours of the rainbow in your hair? Great! We don’t believe that stars at
work have a fixed composition. This is why we don’t typecast profiles for
job candidates. This is why we represent all visuals with greyed-out skin –
because it doesn’t matter. Everyone can use our platform as much as
anyone could be qualified to work for us.
That said, we are a technology company, and in a field notorious for being
male-dominated, we have yet to break the mould in terms of gender ratio
in our workplace – but rest assured that this is not, and has never been by
choice.

2. All communication collaterals (graphics,
copies) are gender neutral, including grey-
skinned presentation of human beings on
all graphical designs.

Work alongside Excellence
We believe that in order for us to continue to build the best smart camera
and IoT platform in the world, we need to hire the best talents to do it.
We are adamant about hiring people with proven track records, or who
show great potential. This admittedly, slows down our hiring process, but
we’d rather spend 3 months looking for someone who’s the right fit for a
role rather than a year retraining several new candidates.
Our team members are encouraged to step up and showcase their talent
and dedication, and we do our best to recognise any showcase of
excellence within the team.
In order for our staff to remain excellent in their trades, we encourage
them to explore professional pursuits that help them develop
professionally in the form of trainings, workshops, conferences and more.

In this future, connected smarter cameras will generate actionable insights, in a secure and data-privacy compliant way, to help instantaneously understand, act on, or control any given development within its periphery. It is through this enablement, that we seek to build a better future.

Our technology platform enables edge interference on any number of cameras with any AI co- processor, from training to interference collection. Through this, we aim to provide the best user experience from vision to connectivity and through a wealth of 3rd party integrations, aspiring to make best-in-class products with our customers. We will constantly strive to keep our smarter camera platform, and the products using it secured. With this, we envision a world of smarter cameras, accessible to anyone at anytime.

Some people like structure, others hate it. We do our best to accommodate within reasonable means. Our approach in work is one centred around measurement by deliverables. So long as good work gets delivered, then we don’t like to fuss about the how. In many cases, many team members do not have fixed working hours. We measure performance not by hours clocked, but by results driven, and output of work. WHY WORK AT ANYCONNECT Our implementation 1. Base hours of 10am-5pm to foster an environment that values work-life balance. 2. Output-based measurement of work performance. 3. Work-from-home policies. 4. Everyone is here for a reason, with objectives tied to their roles. With this hiring philosophy, we empower employees with a great degree of autonomy in their scope of work and duties. To be autonomous is to have the freedom to make decisions within their capacity, with regards to their work, based on their judgment and assessment of whatever being’s decided on. As of today, our team make-up consists of over 12 nationalities from all over the world – and form this we learn form invaluable cultural exchanges while at work. Want to wear trackpants to work? Sure. Shorts? Definitely. Have all the colours of the rainbow in your hair? Great! We don’t believe that stars at work have a fixed composition. This is why we don’t typecast profiles for job candidates. This is why we represent all visuals with greyed-out skin – because it doesn’t matter. Everyone can use our platform as much as anyone could be qualified to work for us. That said, we are a technology company, and in a field notorious for being male-dominated, we have yet to break the mould in terms of gender ratio in our workplace – but rest assured that this is not, and has never been by choice. All communication collaterals (graphics, copies) are gender neutral, including grey- skinned presentation of human beings on all graphical designs. 3. Dress-for-comfort working environment. 4. We are adamant about hiring people with proven track records, or who show great potential. This admittedly, slows down our hiring process, but we’d rather spend 3 months looking for someone who’s the right fit for a role rather than a year retraining several new candidates. Our team members are encouraged to step up and showcase their talent and dedication, and we do our best to recognise any showcase of excellence within the team. In order for our staff to remain excellent in their trades, we encourage them to explore professional pursuits that help them develop professionally in the form of trainings, workshops, conferences and more.
