the world to see.
3. How Has Media Become Social
Media has always had some social aspect to it as it can be guaranteed that almost everyone will
talk about what they have seen in the media. Whether its talking to a friend about a favourite TV
show or discussing the news you read in a newspaper.
However with the introduction of such sites as Twitter and Facebook media has become far more
sociable. These sights are used for communication and sharing aspects of your life with the world
through blogging, videos and photos. With people being able to show these to the world media
has become more social.
4. Are TV and Radio Social?
To some degree TV and Radio are social. Watching a TV program at home with friends or family is
a social activity. Also talking about the program to friends the next day can also be considered
social. Whereas TV and Radio can be social they are used primarily as a source of entertainment
rather than a means of actually communicating with friends.
