2. OBJECTIVE:
• To introduce BBC Scotland staff, based at BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay, to the work of BBC Media Action.
• Promoting the event in an inviting, creative and engaging manner – using digital and interactive Posters
and email.
• Planning and organising the event venue, technology and hosting the charity representatives.
3. RESULT:
• Received the highest turn out in comparison to all other BBC bases visited by the Roadshow.
• Gave BBC Media Action the platform needed to introduce their work, aims and objectives.
• Opened a dialogue between staff and charity with regards to what BBC Media Action does, has achieved and hopes to achieve.
• This was especially significant due to the relevance of Ebola as a new international concern during the initial break out in 2014.
• Gave BBC Media Action the platform to gain financial and voluntary support from BBC Scotland staff.
