and mobile. Working closely with BBC Commissioners and Numiko and Cimex, developed a
location-based AR mobile app and a cross-channel Arts portal.
Social Media Producer – Virtual Revolution, BBC (April 2009 – November 2009)
Working closely with the TV production team, I was the Social Media and Blog Producer for the
BAFTA and Digital Emmy Award-winning cross-platform BBC2 documentary: Virtual Revolution.
• Developed the Virtual Revolution blog;
• Delivered 99 blog posts over the course of the production.
• Commissioned and edited guest blog posts from tech luminaries.
• Developed and managed the production’s Twitter feed @bbcdigrev (including arranging our live
tweeting with TX using the first ever onscreen hashtag #bbcrevolution), a Flickr Group, Delicious
links and YouTube activity.
• Managed the media output for free rushes clips delivered online and the video competition to
accompany those open source rushes.
Online Development Producer, BBC TV (Dec 2008 – March 2009)
Delivering compelling development ideas for BBC TV Factual productions. Produced propositions
for a variety of programmes and online products across genres.
Assistant Content Producer, BBC Food (Oct 2005 – Dec 2008)
Created and maintained all content (videos, recipes, newsletters, message boards, mobile platform
content etc.) and systems (recipe search database, mini-sites, additional projects). Liaised
between content editorial, design and engineering staff. Also hosted the BBC Food online
community.

Responsible for the planning, development and co-ordination of all public training programmes for
Shelter staff and third party organisations.
Foyer Federation (May 1998 – March 2003)
For vulnerable young people’s charity, Foyer Federation, responsible for supporting the expansion
and maintenance of the UK Foyer network, coordinating regional staff, managing the UK
membership, and designing training programmes for housing and training staff. Introduced and
