The Medco - Express Scripts Merger
Provide strategic direction and executive leadership to the Claims Execution Area. Manage a global team of 600
employees and consultants involved in all aspects of development, functional requirements, and quality assurance
testing for non-clinical applications/systems. Plan and manage annual operating budgets of up to $10 million.
Member of senior executive team that planned strategies for application development and management
involving the merger of Medco and Express Scripts; played a key role in developing plans to seamlessly
integrate a suite of core applications; directed the setup of retail networks, eligibility, and benefits.
Directed largest component of the integration between Express Scripts and Medco legacy systems; created
functional requirements and implementation plan to achieve project objectives while maintaining full business
continuity and transparency to clients; currently on pace to complete project within 18-month deadline.
