The grand palace of the Viceroy of Lower Assam, i.e. the
Borphukan, stood some 200 metres away from what is now the
Bharalumukh and even farther from the Panjoganiar Khel
famous for its vendors of betel nut and leaves. It is said
that the Borphukan was a regular ‘customer’ of these vendors
who, as the historian Dipankar Banerjee notes, more-or-less
migrated from the area to erstwhile East Pakistan following the
partition but could not take away with the name that their
inhabitancy in that area inspired. Thus, Panjoganiar Khel
grew from a centre of supplying refreshments to the
Borphukan to a centre supplying books to the students
apart from being a centre for distinguished speakers such as
Swami Vivekananda and Mohammad Ali Jinnah among others to
reverberate its air with their words.

____ _____, who is the most famous for documenting her
time in the “Secret ____x” died of typhus in the spring of
1945 at the Bergen-Belsen, Germany. In a recent paper,
historian Gertjan Broek has suggested another possibility, which
might shed new light on a long-held belief on the circumstances
leading to this famous death.
Three of the members were longtime police officers whose work
was related to cases involving cash, jewellery or confiscation of
belongings. One, Gezinus Gringhuis, was working for the
Special Unit of the Central Investigation Division. The arrest of
two salesmen, Martin Brouwer and Pieter Daatzelaar, for ration-
card fraud, or the illegal use or selling of the ration cards
required to buy food further gives credence to the fact that it was
accidental, considering Gringhuis' job involved investigating
economic violations.

If Quora is to be believed than the story goes that before the
advent of the announcement system in Indian Railways, the
ringing of the bell was used to alert the passengers
about the arrival of a train on the platform, which is still used in
several small stations in India. The bell was struck 5 times when
a train used to reach the 2nd last station before the destination
and 4 times when it reached the last station before destination,
thus the bell struck 9 times in total as a train arrived
onto the destination station and thereafter, the bell
would be struck 2 times before the train left the
platform. Hence, a train arrives and leaves a station
with a total of 11 bells in between.

A British science columnist Adam Wears in his trademark witty style writes,
“we got one of the most radical developments in science because a young boy had
a dream about electrocuting farmyard animals and spent his adult life refusing to let
go of an argument that he had with an imaginary farmer.”
The above line is a reference to the famous story that the revolutionary
scientific theory was first conceived in a dream of its ingenious discoverer.
The dream goes this way:
“He was walking through a farm when he came upon a bunch of cows huddled up
against an electric fence. The farmer suddenly switched the fence on, and he
watched all of the cows jump back at the same time as they got shocked.
Assuming that he'd witnessed some kind of synchronized cow acrobatics, he
recounted what he'd seen to the farmer, who had been standing at the
opposite end of the field. But what the farmer had seen was different --
he'd seen the cows jump away one by one, like they were doing the wave at a
football game. Therefore, the same situation looked different when
observed from different places.”
Question: Work out the theory from this dream and name its discoverer.
