required by Vision 2020; and leverage Common Business System (CBS) and other Caterpillar
SAP Programs. This project consists of SD, VC, MM - Purchasing, MM-IM, WM PP, APO-PPDS /
MMP/SNP, FI/CO - AR, AP, GL, PCA, CCA, PS, SEM-BPS, SEM-BCS, GTS and BI.
1. It’s an Automotive industry, manufactures Earth moving Equipment’s with a Vivid Complex
Business Process and Variant Configurations being used in each step.
2. I support Plan to Produce & Order to Release Process areas.
3. Automated Process was involved like Material Requirements Planning, Creation, and
Release & Completion of Production Orders.
4. PDC (Product Distribution Center) Process was involved in the Business Structure of
Client.
5. JIT (Just in Time) Concept was used for Immediate Procurement of Materials from
Vendors.
6. Variant Configuration Environment was involved at BOM, Operations & Sequence level.
