2. My Career in Flex
Joined Flex in September 2014 as MPDM Engineer.
Purchased million dollars of raw materials and actively managed more than 600 line items.
Ensure proper communication to the suppliers based on the agreed supplier communication protocol on the forecast
demands, production dates and call offs.
Follow-up, negotiate and monitor the rejected claims with supplier / users thereby to ensure the reduction of claim
rejection.
Monitor the supply performance on a daily basis thereby to ensure the adherence of service level agreement
Scrubbing/Structuring the C BOM based on required fields for NPI models and upload into system.
Bill of Material development / Validation Work with Product development engineers and with CFT to identify and

perform Bom Split Activity
Customer original BOM has been Split into 2 Assembly’s: PCBA and HLA (ROA) level (Final Parent). Hence, there are
total of 2 backflush point.
Bom Split is done at the PCBA Level where SMT & Hand Place components will be structured into one assembly and
Mechanical, Press fit & Packaging will be Structured to another level.
So once the SMT BOT run successfully it will backflush at before loading press fit parts.
2 WO# - Work order or Production order will be created to define 2 Backflush point into system.
It gives accuracy of the material consumption
